NARA registry

The number of reverse shoulder arthroplasties for proximal humerus fractures is increasing worldwide. Nordic arthroplasty registry association provides a combined registry database with a common minimal dataset of ca 40.000 shoulder arthroplasties in the Nordic countries between years 2004-2018. This database may be used to study the survival of the prosthesis with revision as endpoint.

We collaborate closely with NITEP research group in the recruitment of patients for the DELTACON trial, comparing the outcome of reverse shoulder arthroplasty and conservative treatment for proximal humerus fractures in a randomized controlled trial setting.
